polite suggestions for disposal / recycling of old 02 cells. I get the feeling throwing them in the bin is bad...

You could put them in with batteries recycling.

I asked the same question over on CCR Explorers:
Where do people recycle their old cells? - CCR Explorers (http://www.ccrexplorers.com/showthread.php?t=14654)
No definitive answer but I decided to put mine in with my normal battery recycling.

PM me your address and I'll post you one of the ones I threw away last night. No need for payment, but if you get your analyser working I'd be very happy if you made a donation to the Scuba Trust.
