You will want the locking ring tool... or make one... and the tilt valve boss... harder to make ;)

and a flow stop if you haven't already got one fitted....

Start at http://www.apdiving.com/en/rebreathers/resources/manuals/
and it's in the second block of manuals.

This is AP your dealing with not the usual diving Cosa Nostra.

You can unscrew the tilt valve boss with an appropriately sized flat screwdriver.

Long nose pliers or large tweezers will undo blue washer with four holes in if that's the part you are referring to.

Or a piece of wood with four nails if you want to go the full Heath Robinson hog...

I bought the two tools and the service kit from AP and did the service myself this year using the most excellent service manual. So easy a software engineer could do it.

are you implying you can service it by turning it off then back on again?

That would be a Server Engineer.

Do you do long negative tests?

Do you do long negative tests?I don't any more after it led to a slight constant free flow on a 45 minute dive on the Polynesian, which was annoying to say the least!

Exactly.

If the OP does then perhaps the same cause.
