If my post doesnt have a typo, then I have probably been hacked!

I use a camel-pak or platypus - with the hose, can be stored in the gap between the tanks on a twin set, and hose comes over the shoulder.
If in cold water then I put mine in the neoprene cover that way it's not too cold when you drink it which can be bad if you are adding cold fluid into your body.

Capri sun are ok, std orange juice cartons are good (you don't taste salt that much)
Bananas are messy and a snickers (it was marathons when I did it) are a nightmare
For the juices, squeeze them into your mouth and don't let them un squeeze before sealing. Simples.

I've tried it - but I found that simply being hydrated (which takes several days to do well, IMHO) is a better plan.

When I was doing it then I found orange-juice was best, then you can tell you are not drinking sea water :-) I also like the taste of Nuun (green or yellow taste best IMHO) which also travels well:

                  I use this:

As this is flexible it fits inside the Inspo case and the tube comes out the top.

                  Matt.

Matt is right, adding a flavour to it helps, I prefer blackcurrant.

you only eat a marathon/snickers once underwater. I can still feel the peanuts bouncing off my tonsils everytime I breathed. mars bars are OK though and another vote for capri sun or the camelback.

nowadays I just drink the condensation out of the loop. I just keep recycling water. well not all of it...

You have to be careful not to stan the straw through the pack and out the other side, like a friend of mine did. Oh how we laughed!

I have a small camelback that goes onto the top bolt of the twinset, and fits in the groove between the twins and the wing it holds about a litre, so not a huge amount, but at least you aren't trying to fit a Capri sun in your pocket.

                          I've never tried eating anything.

I can't get the straw into a Capri sun on land. I can't only imagine the tantrum that would occur underwater with dry gloves. :O

Clearly, none of you have children...

Capri-sun now come with the straw already in. You just rip open the corner and sort of shuffle the straw up until you can get your teeth to it, then hand to small child with the sacred incantation "now, DO NOT SQUEE... Oh, too late."
