Good books about (technical) diving

What are good books about diving and where to buy? I can read books in Dutch, German, English and French ;)
I have:
-Deco for divers - Mark Powell - good book
-Manuel technique de plongée souterraine- Frank Vasseur - nice book, but in French
-Fatal Depth - Joseph Haberstroh - not a book about diving techniques, but nice
-The last dive - Bernie Chowdhudry - not a book about diving techniques, but nice
-Diving science - Michael B. Strauss, Igor V. Aksenov & Igor V. Aksenov - ok, but not the best, and a little bit outdated
-A simple guide to decompression illness - Lee Griffiths - cheap book, worth the money, but not the best
-Diving into Darkness- Philip Finch - no words to say

the six skills I ordered today, but I did not see it in real. So I cannot say it is good or not. I ordered Handbuch Technisches Tauchen too.

Deep Diving by Brett Gilliam and Mixed Gas Diving by Mount & Gilliam et al have been out of print for a while but I think are still two of the best books around. A bit dated but still very good reads.

Not a book but the Learners Guide to Rebreather Diving by Richard Pyle. It was on his page at the Bishop Museum website and linked to on various tech diving websites. Again, his views seem to have fallen out of vogue but personally I think it should be essential reading.

Darkness Beckons by Martyn Farr, Caverns Measureless to Man by Sheck Exley and Caves & Cave Diving by Guy de Lavaur are my favourite cave diving books. I also re-read the NSS-CDS Cavern Diving Manual before a trip if I haven't been cave diving for a while. I know it says cavern but it's just a distilled version of their full cave manual. Best "how to" book in my opinion.

deep diving should be on everyones bookshelf. as NDY said dated but still a lot of relevant stuff in it.

deeper into diving is another really good book that should be on your list.

not really technical diving these days but cousteau's the silent world and Hass's books are also worth a read.

I thought "Technical Diving From the Bottom Up" (or "Up The Bottom" as Simon Mitchell calls it) by Kevin Gurr was fairly good read. Deep descent by Kevin McMurray is a good list of ways not to die, and Shadow Divers by Robert Kurson is good as well.

the Oxygen Hackers Handbook is okay if you are interested in home blending. I have said elsewhere that it is not a fantastic book but it does give a good overview of the dangers of o2 and safe practices with it's handing.

IT is a very americanised book though so some stuff is of limited use and the proof reader should be shot but it does have some handy DIY tips
