We found second dives a bit chilly towards the end on a 3mm. I'd take a 5 (full length) for comfort on a live aboard, but then I'm a bit soft like that.

That's what I used and it was perfect for these temps. Don't forget on a liveaboard you'll be doing a lot of diving and your body temp will drop slightly over the week.

If it was 24-25C I would take a 5mm however 22nd of June I am hoping it will be more 25-27C. I prefer a less buoyant suit and undergarments so I can dive with 2Kg less. I guess I need to check again nearer the date what the temps are if still not over 25 then 5mm will be

I use full 3mm and a 2mm vest . Any less than a 3mm and you'll be too cold for the night dive. We have done may, June and July and I always use a 3mm and wife uses 5mm , she still got cold by the afternoon/evening. Don't spoil it by being cold . We were the only people to do all the dives available, most others sat out aleast 3-4 dives in the week

I have a 3mm and a set of oneill thermo X undergarments. They are the same material of fourth elements thermocline giving around 2mm cover. Either way I shall be monitoring the temperatures until last minute and adjust accordingly

Surface temperature is still low 26 so I have changed my mind and will dive in a 5/4/3 plus an optional thermal for the thistlegorm if we actually go there

Good choice, the colours won't seem so vivid and amazing if you are cold and miserable. Make sure you post some pics when you get back

The other thing is if you are doing toggery you will probably be moving nice and slowly in the water. If you aren't working so hard you will get cold sooner. Another reason for a slightly thicker full length suit.

Thanks for all your input guys. I should have mentioned I have actually worked a whole season in Sharm. The reason I asked is that in late June temperatures are around 26.5C at the surfaces. Some years is colder other years warmer. It looks like this year the surface temperature is still 26.1C as of 19th which for me makes this year a 'colder' one hence my 5/4/3. Even with a 3mm full I would have brought a set of under garments but i feel a 5/4/3 will be just perfect as also the wind is more than 20 mph with gusts so better be safe

3mm no sleeves in November 13 and March this year including down to the Thistlegorm. Offered to lend my sleeves to someone in a drysuit ;-)

I was in Tiran yesterday, in shorts/rashie and on OC. 24*C below 6m... was ok as only got in for one dive. Bit of a shock moving from drysuit!
