I was being told the other week that here are well over 2000 Poseidon units out there yet nobody has started a list of Poseidon owners on here.

So don't be shy..

I have one.

I like it a lot.

Right, shall we do the recreational CCR argument again?

If that number is even vaguely correct that means there maybe 4 x more pos' than JJ's - I've only seen 2 pos' in the wild; yet JJ's are as common as tagnuts an a sheeps arse

I know where two of them are. Sitting unused in a friends garage, unlikely to ever be used again.

to be fair, they are big doors, and do need big doorstops

I know where there are at least 3 units, only another 1992 to find.

Anyone got any links to trip/training reports?

Only seen Mark's & Janos's, otherwise pretty rare sights. Now if we talking Inspos (the Daddy).......................

Saw a clutch of Mk6's at Chepstow, doing a course but never seen on an actual dive!

I know of 4 units out there, 2 with 2 instructors, but never seen one in the wild yet.

I have seven, but that is outside of UK. Four of them in active weekly use.

I might have to learn to service them myself.

I know 3 people who bought them based in Plymouth - one was one of the early instructors who sold them to the other two!

Two, including the instructor, have since sold them and returned to Inspo's due to the early bit ongoing teething problems but I guess that's part and parcel of being an early adopter. They gave them a good couple of years use though. The third still dives his - but his diving is better suited to the intended audience of this unit than te other two. His reason for buying was with regards to gas logistics diving from his own motor cruiser - the other two were already RB divers looking for a new toy.

I know of at least 4 in the East Midlands, all owned by people who don't come on here (might be the same as Beaker mentioned). They're dived pretty regularly too.
